The directions were mostly clear and helped me quite a bit. There was maybe one area where I had to pause for a minute because it felt a little confusing, but overall it got me where I needed to go

I used visitbigbend.com while planning a quick trip and it was helpful at first, but once we were actually out there I realized a few things like hours and road details didn’t really match what we were seeing, so I ended up bouncing around to other sites on my phone in the car trying to double-check everything, which was kind of annoying when we were already on the road and just wanted to know where to go.

"Super helpful once they got back to me"
I had a few questions before booking, customer service ended up being really helpful. It did take a little while to hear back, but once they replied, everything was clear, friendly, and easy to understand. They absolutely knew what they were doing and helped me figure out exactly what I needed without turning it into some big complicated thing. Was it flawless? Not completely. But overall, I’m totally confident I’d use visitbigbend.com again

"Hard to use, especially on mobile"
I was trying to look up some basic info for a Big Bend trip, and the site just felt harder to use than it probably should. The pages seemed kind of cluttered, and I wasn’t always sure where I was supposed to click next.

It was especially annoying on my phone. The menus didn’t feel very smooth, and I kept tapping around trying to get to simple stuff. I’m sure it’s in there somewhere, but it felt more buried than necessary.

After a while I just gave up and checked other sites instead. Maybe if you already know exactly where everything is, it works fine, but for me it was a frustrating experience.

"Check-in was fine, but a little slow"
From what I remember, check-in went okay in the end, but it definitely took longer than I thought it would. The instructions were a bit unclear, so I had to figure things out as I went. The staff was nice enough, which helped, but looking back, it just could’ve felt a lot more organized.

"It worked, I guess"
I used Big Bend National Park to book my trip and it was fine overall, just not the smoothest thing ever. A couple parts were kind of unclear and I had to click back around a few times because I wasn’t totally sure what it was asking or where to find certain details. Maybe I missed something, but it felt a little clunky. I did get everything booked in the end, so it wasn’t a huge issue

"Really clean, easy place to come back to"
I’m always kind of picky about cleanliness when we check into a place, maybe too picky, but this one felt really well taken care of. The rooms, bathroom, and kitchen all looked clean, not like someone just did a quick once-over and called it good.
We booked through visitbigbend.com, and everything went smoothly. After being out hiking, it was just nice to come back and not wonder if the floors were gross or if there’d be some weird smell. I’d probably stay here again without overthinking it too much.

We brought our pup with us, it made such a difference. Finding pet-friendly spots was way easier than I expected. Planning our Big Bend trip felt a lot less stressful... which is saying something when you're traveling with a dog.

I was a little unsure at first, but I’m glad I tried it. The local tips for Big Bend were really helpful and made planning feel a lot less overwhelming. The maps could still use some improvement, but overall it was a relief to have this kind of guidance

"Easy cancellation, just a tiny hiccup"
I had to cancel my Big Bend booking at the last minute, and overall it was way less stressful than I expected. The policy was clear and I didn’t have to deal with any weird runaround or confusing steps. The only small downside was that I still felt a little nervous going into it since last-minute cancellations can be a pain, but once I started, it was handled quickly. I really appreciated how simple it ended up being and I’d definitely book here again.

"I was disappointed with how the trip..."
I was disappointed with how the trip came together. Based on the website, I expected the details to be clearer and more up to date, but a few things felt outdated and made planning more confusing than it needed to be. To be fair, Big Bend itself is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. I just think it’s fair for travelers to have accurate, easy-to-follow info before they go, because this ended up adding stress to a trip that should’ve been more enjoyable
